Project Read of North San Mateo County offers numerous opportunities for volunteer service. Training will be provided.

NOW RECRUITING - AmeriCorps member:  two part-time volunteers who want to make a difference in the community.  One year service starting January 2009 through December 2009.  Monthly stipend and educational award for qualified individuals.  For position description and benefits, click on AmeriCorp flyer below.

Computer lab facilitator: assist volunteer tutors and adult learners in accessing and using instructional software programs

Office assistant: provide general office assistance in support of Project Read's staff

Data entry assistant: enter data in Project Read’s Access database

Speakers Bureau: speak publicly on behalf of Project Read

Graphic designer: assist with the publication of promotional materials

Silent Auction coordinator: provide assistance with our Trivia Challenge Silent Auction

Rebuilding Together assistant: join us in partnership with Rebuilding Together to make home repairs for low income homeowners
